Puppy Lovin'

I Luv my dogs. First there is Hattie- aka- Momma Bear. She is the oldest and the fattest and the friendliest. She is a yellow lab with a pink nose and was a Christmas gift almost 11 years ago. Then there is Gracie... She is actually one of Hattie's pups, but is a black lab. Lets just say that she is the weirdest but only because she is extremely intelligent. Last of all but certainly not least, is Ike- aka- ike-doodle. He is the most recent addition to the Peverall family. Last summer my dad randomly stated that he would love to have a small dog that he could take with him on his canoe endeavors. Well low and behold... God and his amazingness knew of a certain beagle that was survivin' all by himself in the harsh-cold-wet-world and decided to place him in the sight of some friends of ours the very next day after my dad had said he wanted a small dog. Yes my friends... Ike was found in a field, just skin and bones and half dead. Well little did he know that the God of the universe knows and sees everything and takes care of even the smallest of creatures. So our friends picked him up and decided that the only family that would have the love to nurture this dog back to health, was mine. Poor thing was so skinny when we received him that we feared we might brake him, but he is a little chunk now and is the joy of our family. There isnt a day that goes by that he doesnt make us smile at some point or another. He greets us with utmost excitement in the morning and when we come in from our daily activities and delivers surprise kissin' attacks when he feels the need to do so. Truly a blessing if you ask me, but our other dogs are blessings as well because without them we would never have had the chance to learn how to love slobbery-muddy-wet... yet fun-lovin four legged animals that are awesome examples of God's creativeness!

I love me some puppy lovin'!

Yay for Friendship!

Okay, okay, okay.... so the next few pictures might be a little scary, but I wanted to put them on here because even in their craziness, I adore every single person in each of the pics. I value their friendship because they have been anointed by God in different ways to further His Kingdom. YAY!

I must say that I am so amazed that God would create the concept of friendship and community. Through these wonderful concepts we are encouraged and built up as individuals to become the people that He has called us to be. We learn things, do things, say things, hear things, see things, think things, and pray for things that on our own, we would never have the opportunity to live and experience. In all my life (even though it is only a span of nearly 20 years), the friendships that I have had have all defined me and shaped me in some way into the person I am. Some of the friendships have only existed for mere seasons, while others have lasted throughout the years and I am thankful for everyone that the Lord has placed in my path to serve his purpose with.

The Gift of Family

I must say that I am a very lucky girl. I have a family that is amazing, fun, loving, absolutely crazy, interesting, zealous, supportive, smart, stylish, pretty big in terms of quantity, and finally...
God fearing.

Only God could bless me with such a gift.

Unfortunately I know how broken families are and can become and I pray for the redemption and protection of families all over the world. God gave us the gift of families so that we might learn how to love as Christ loves us and share His love with other people.

We are all part of a family that is much more satisfying than any of our own, no matter how great or broken they are. The Lord is a faithful papa. He knows what to say to calm our ever weary hearts. He knows what to do to heal our broken lives. He knows every waking moment that our souls will endure on this earth, and after...

He is the Alpha, Omega, Beginning, and End... and Abba.

Showers

I love showers. Any type of shower. I love rain showers. I love hot showers. I love cold showers (only on a hot summers day). I even love showers of love, specifically from the ones I love. Personally, any type of shower, whether it be rain, hot, cold, or love, has a calming effect on me.

Rain showers have healing powers because they are straight from Heaven... They are beautiful and peaceful (most times) and pure. They wash away all the dirt and bring life to dry and sleeping places.
I love rain showers...

Hot showers open up all the pores, allowing for a deep clean. I think in a hot shower. I organize my thoughts for the day. I pray in the shower. They are calming to me because they are place in my day that belongs completely to me.
I love hot showers...

I love cold showers (only on a hot summers day) when I need to wake up. They are refreshing and rejuvenating. They get me goin'.
I love cold showers...

And I love showers of love by the ones I love. The Lord has blessed me abundantly with people who share the heart of Christ with me everyday. It is like a shower of love from Christ himself. He radiates through the hearts of my family and friends, and they stand beside me and edify me with encouragement. He showers me with love through scripture and little secrets he whispers to my heart to satisfy me and fill me up to keep me thriving in life.
I love showers of love by the ones I love...

BEAUTY

So God must be an amazing artist because if he can create pictures like this all over the world that are seen and unseen, he has to be better than any artist that I can think of!
