I Luv my dogs. First there is Hattie- aka- Momma Bear. She is the oldest and the fattest and the friendliest. She is a yellow lab with a pink nose and was a Christmas gift almost 11 years ago. Then there is Gracie... She is actually one of Hattie's pups, but is a black lab. Lets just say that she is the weirdest but only because she is extremely intelligent. Last of all but certainly not least, is Ike- aka- ike-doodle. He is the most recent addition to the Peverall family. Last summer my dad randomly stated that he would love to have a small dog that he could take with him on his canoe endeavors. Well low and behold... God and his amazingness knew of a certain beagle that was survivin' all by himself in the harsh-cold-wet-world and decided to place him in the sight of some friends of ours the very next day after my dad had said he wanted a small dog. Yes my friends... Ike was found in a field, just skin and bones and half dead. Well little did he know that the God of the universe knows and sees everything and takes care of even the smallest of creatures. So our friends picked him up and decided that the only family that would have the love to nurture this dog back to health, was mine. Poor thing was so skinny when we received him that we feared we might brake him, but he is a little chunk now and is the joy of our family. There isnt a day that goes by that he doesnt make us smile at some point or another. He greets us with utmost excitement in the morning and when we come in from our daily activities and delivers surprise kissin' attacks when he feels the need to do so. Truly a blessing if you ask me, but our other dogs are blessings as well because without them we would never have had the chance to learn how to love slobbery-muddy-wet... yet fun-lovin four legged animals that are awesome examples of God's creativeness!I love me some puppy lovin'!
